2-in-1

MODE OF ACTION

2-in-1 is a long duration herbicide, quick and very easy to use. It is translocated through growing plants till Xylem and Phloem. The herbical combination acts by inhibition of Acetyl COA Carboxylase (ACCase) enzyme of the weed. The most important function of ACC is to provide the malonyl-CoA substrate for the biosynthesis of fatty acids (it destroys cell membrane resulting in leaky cells). By stopping synthesis of fatty acids, it essentially stops its growth resulting in yellowish & later brown/ dry-up weed. Time of application: It has no residual effect on following crop and is effective even if rains after for 2hrs of application. Soyabean might show bronzing in one of the trifoliate leaf field experience but the crop recovers whereas the weed is killed.

DOSAGE

400 ml per acre
Time of Application: 15-25 days after sowing when weeds are at 2-4 leaf stage. When Broad leaf weed is 3 days and Grasses is 7 days.

200ml, 400ml, 1000ml.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

• Plant Protection Equipment: Knapsack sprayer or foot sprayer with flat fan or flood jet nozzle.
• Add recommended quantity of solution into a bucket half-filled with water and mix well.

• Add remaining water and spray (refer leaflet for detailed information).

SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

• Spray during clean weather and in the direction of wind.
• Soil moisture to be maintained during spray.
• Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin. Do not mix with bare hands.
• Avoid inhalation the spray mist.
• Wash thoroughly the contaminated clothes and parts of the body after spraying.
• Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying.
• Wear full protective clothing e.g. hand gloves, goggles and face mask while mixing and spraying.
• No specific antidote is known. Treat symptomatically.
