Stomach Poisons are insecticides that act when ingested by insects through its biting or chewing mouth parts. They provide cover against insects like stem borers, leaf folders etc.
Systemic pesticides are water soluble, that are absorbed into a plant and distributed throughout its tissues, reaching the plant’s stem, leaves, roots, and any fruits or flowers. Hence, long-term residual effect.
SHINESTAR PLUS is a broad-spectrum systemic insecticide, with all possible modes of penetration that is, ingestion, contact or as fumigant. It targets central nervous system of the insect to control the infestation.

MODE OF ACTION

SHINESTAR PLUS through various modes of action (ingestion, contact and fumigant) gets absorbed by the insect, where it affects the central nervous system by blocking nicotinic acetylcholine receptor causing paralysis.

RECOMMENDATION

Wheat, Mustard, Tomato, Brinjal

DOSAGE

Wheat, Mustard : 200ml/acre, 200-400ml/acre
Pest: Aphids

Tomato, Brinjal : 200ml/acre
Pest: Whiteflies, Jassids

PACK SIZE

100ml, 250ml, 500ml & 1ltr.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

  • Fill the spray tank ¼ with water, then add the required quantity of product.
  • Apply within a few hours after mixing.
  • Wet the whole plant thoroughly but avoid run-off and spray drift to non-target sites.
  • Please read the instructions given on label and booklet for best application procedures.


SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Do not use cooking utensils for preparing the spray solution.
  • Do not spray if the rains are expected.
  • Do not enter the application area within 24 hrs of application.
  • Do not use empty packaging for any other purposes.
  • Treat only when there is little or no wind.
